1.) KidKraft Kitchen Sets – There are a number of really great KidKraft Kitchen Sets that you can purchase. They come in a variety of different colors and styles – with some really great built-in features. Check out a full list of all these KidKraft Kitchen Sets here: The Best KidKraft Kitchen Sets.
There are two options that really stand out above the rest to us – The KidKraft Uptown Espresso Kitchen and the KidKraft Vintage Kitchen. We personally bought the Vintage Kitchen (you can read our review here) but that is because we prefer the more classic look – the Espresso Kitchen has a more modern feel to it.
Both choices are really well built and are going to have just about everything you could ask for in a toy kitchen set.
They are both heavy, between 50 – 70 pounds, and take a few hours to put together. They are also both large enough for multiple children to play with at the same time.
We have had lots of fun with our Kitchen Set, and I think you will have a lot of fun with yours!
2.) KidKraft Train Sets – Another type of toy that KidKraft is famous for making are train sets. There are a lot of different options you can pick from, so we would encourage you to take a look at the different options, and pick the train set that you think will be the best for you.
The most highly rated tables are the KidKraft Ride Around Train Set, KidKraft Waterfall Mountain Train Set, and the Grand Central Station Train Set listed above.
3.) KidKraft Everyday Heroes Play Set – This really neat play house/play center is 3 floors and has 12 rooms inside. It folds up and is very compact, making it easy to store.
All the figures are made out of wood, and it includes a helicopter, fire truck, cop motorcycle, policeman, fireman, dogs, furniture, basketball hoop, and lots more furniture! These pieces can be organized in the different rooms, and helps to create numerous different play options.
Size wise it is about 28 inches high, 40 inches wide, and 11 inches deep – and it also weighs right around 22 pounds.
This toy is almost like a dollhouse, but it doesn’t have that incorrect stigma that boys shouldn’t play with dollhouses. I would recommend this toy for both boys and girls, and it will bring tons of fun to any playroom!
4.) KidKraft Pirates Cove Play Set – If you are looking for a really cool pirate themed toy, check out the KidKraft Pirates Cove Play Set.
This toy comes with a pirate ship, tower, and large pirate hideout. The hideout has a couple of cannons that will light up and make sounds. There is also a treasure chest that lights up, plus you have a couple of cranes to move cargo. Other pieces included 4 molded pirates, rope ladder, and furniture pieces. It also includes a jail cell!
There are so many cool features in this toy, I don’t know how your child wouldn’t like it! This toy does a wonderful job of creating fun, imaginative adventures for your child’s playtime adventures.
5.) KidKraft Children’s Baking Set – If you want a new toy to go with your KidKraft Kitchen set, or if your child has taking a real interest to your baking adventures, check out this KidKraft Children’s Baking Set.
This 11-piece baking set includes a toy stand mixer and stand, wooden rolling pin, chocolate chip cookies, toy butter & milk, a baking sheet, and a couple of eggs. Basically, all those key toys you need to pretend you are baking!
These toys are made from wood and molded plastic, so they are going to be very durable. There is also no assembly required – which is a big plus with KidKraft toys!
Also, the cost of this toy set is very low, making it a great bargain buy.
6.) KidKraft Rocket Ship Playset – KidKraft does a great job of coming up with unique toys, and I would say that the KidKraft Rocket Ship Playset fits the bill nicely.
This rocket ship shaped playset has 5 floors, and should be a great fit for children that love space!
The top is removable, and it is made from wood, so it weighs a little over 10 pounds or so (which might be a little heavy for young children trying to move it).
It has moving cranes, astronauts, robots, computers, an alien…you know all that important stuff that you will need on space adventures.
It really is a fun, well designed toy that will be a nice fit for any parent looking for something a little unique, and a little different.
It is also one of the easier KidKraft toys to put together…which is a nice change of pace when building Kitchen Sets and Train Sets!
7.) KidKraft Adventure Bound Space Shuttle – We have the KidKraft Rocket Ship listed above, and we had to add the newer KidKraft Adventure Bound Space Shuttle to the list in 2021!
This space shuttle toy is awesome and should be a big hit with any child that loves space and space themed toys! This is a multi-level toy with bay doors that open. It has a working crane, a tether to attach your astronaut too, and even a small space rover they can drive around in. Plus, some other really fun accessories to incorporate into play time.
It even has a landing gear so you can play with this rocket ship in a vertical or horizontal position. It does have some assembly required but does come with step-by-step instructions to get the job done quickly.
Overall, this is a fun toy and perfect for space lovers!
8.) KidKraft Laundry Playset – If you already have a kitchen set, or your child loves to take laundry out of the dryer like mines does, you may want to think about purchasing the KidKraft Laundry Playset.
This is a very simple toy that has a washer and dryer that are stacked on top of each other. Each one has a door that opens and closes, plus knobs that click and turn. The doors do have a see thru space, so you can see that imaginative laundry get clean.
There are also storage shelves and a chalkboard to draw on.
It is about 38 inches high, so it should pair nicely with a kitchen set, or in the corner of any playroom. It is also made from wood, so it should be plenty durable and able to with stand a little bit of a beating.
It is never too early to teach your children how to do laundry.
9.) KidKraft Chelsea Doll Cottage With Furniture – If you are looking for a traditional dollhouse, the KidKraft Chelsea Doll Cottage with Furniture would be a nice selection.
It is a 3 story dollhouse that includes two plastic staircases. The three levels of space provide plenty of room for the 17 pieces of furniture that it comes with! The furniture can be positioned however you would like and it also has windows that open and close incorporated into the design.
It is about 28 inches tall, 24 inches long, and 10 inches deep, which are nice dimensions for a Doll Cottage.
It is made to be used with 4 inch mini dolls, but many people have used 5 inches dolls, Calico Critters, and various other figures with this set.
10.) KidKraft Fire Station Set – I am a big fan of the wooden KidKraft Fire Station Toy Set. The wood frame makes it very durable, and the 16L x 16W x 20H inch dimensions let it easily fit into most play rooms.
The wood does make it a little heavy, weighing almost 20 pounds.
There are multiple rooms and floors to play in, and the set includes 15 different pieces. These pieces include a helicopter and a fire truck – plus a bendy Dalmatian and fire fighter figure.
The garage doors open and close, there is a helicopter pad on top, and you actually have a 360 degree play view – which really encourages imaginative play time.
You will also love the colorfully painted walls and floors. I see this toy being a big hit with any kid that loves firetrucks!
11.) KidKraft Deluxe Fire Rescue Set – I would call this KidKraft Deluxe Fire Rescue Set the updated version of the KidKraft Fire Station Set listed above. I think the looks and functionality of it are a little more modern, but both toy sets are fun!
Size wise you are looking at a playset that is 31.25 x 18.5 x 24.8 inches (L x W x H) and it is made from wood. It weights about 25-pounds and comes with 22-pieces of furniture, 3 fire fighters, an ambulance and fire truck, and even a helipad with a helicopter.
The fire fighter figures are bendable – which is nice since most of these sets include wooden, painted on figures. If you are buying a fire station or fire rescue toy for a playroom, I would pick this one!
12.) KidKraft Deluxe Workbench with Tools – I’ve been amazed at how often our toy tool sets get played with by our sons, and the KidKraft Deluxe Workbench with Tools is a great starting piece if your child also loves tool sets.
The tool bench is made of wood and is about 32 inches high and 22 inches long. There are two storage bins below, and a vice grip that can be tightened and loosened…plus a really cool looking buzz saw!
It also comes with lots of pretend nuts and bolts, plus some tools – which again makes it a very good starting set.
You can easily incorporate other tool sets into the storage bins and storage area of this playset. Some other nuts and bolts can be used with it as well if they are the right size.
This is really a fun tool set that girls and boys should enjoy playing with!
13.) KidKraft Wash N Go Wooden Car Garage Playset – This KidKraft Wash N Go Wooden Car Garage Playset has been very popular and was actually nominated for some different toy awards. It was a no-brainer to add to this list of the Best KidKraft Toys of 2021.
This 19-piece set has cars, figures, ladders, and all sorts of fun stuff that is needed for a garage playset. It has a big elevator right in the middle with a knob that will lift cars from the first floor to the third floor.
This playset is made from wood, so you won’t have to worry about durability issues – and it only takes a little bit of assembly. It isn’t nearly as hard to put together as the train tables or kitchen sets.
14.) KidKraft Majestic Mansion Dollhouse – One of the best Dollhouses that KidKraft makes is the KidKraft Majestic Mansion Dollhouse. It is huge…almost 4 ½ feet tall!
Besides being 4 and ½ feet tall, it has 8 rooms to decorate on four stories. It also comes with 34 furniture pieces and accessories – including tables, chairs, beds, and even a grandfather clock.
There is an elevator that glides back and forth between the second and third floor – plus windows that open and a garage door that opens. It is easily large enough for multiple children to play with at the same time.
Dolls up to 12 inches in height can fit into it, making it ideal for most situations. This is the top notch dollhouse that KidKraft makes!
15.) KidKraft Tiffany Bow Scalloped-Edge Wooden Lil Doll Rocking Cradle – If you are looking for a super fun toy for any stuffed animal or baby doll lover – you got to check out this KidKraft Tiffany Bow Scalloped-Edge Wooden Lil Doll Rocking Cradle.
This adorable cradle was built to hold 18-inch dolls or stuffed animals, and even comes with a mattress, pad, and pillow. The cradle itself rocks back and forth and the sturdy wooden construction will make sure that this toy lasts for a very long time.
Overall, just a great doll cradle at a very affordable price!
2021 Update – KidKraft Toys That are Hard to Find
Here are some really great KidKraft Toys that are now hard to find due to age and in some cases them being discontinued.
1.) KidKraft Deluxe Garage Set – This approximately two foot high race track/garage will be a lot of fun for young children. It is recommended for children ages 24 months to 10 years (but I’ve known an adult or two that still has fun with it).
The deluxe garage set is 3 stories high, and includes six cars and trucks, four townspeople, and a helicopter. Built into the garage is a car wash that has moving scrubbers, a ticket booth, and a gas station.
Matchbox cars can fit onto the ramps, so other toys can be incorporated into it. It has very detailed artwork that makes this a very eye catching toy.
If your child loves cars, and racing them, this toy should fit very nicely into your collection!
2.) KidKraft Toddler Play Station – This toy is obviously geared towards young toddlers, but if you are looking for a good Toddler Play Station, take a look at the KidKraft Toddler Play Station.
It is made from wood and takes some time to put together, but it is very durable once built.
It has a very colorful design, with numbers, letters, and even cool elephant book ends. It also comes with wooden train cars, 5 animal shapes, and 14 beads that can be pushed and pulled along a track. It even has gears that turn.
This toddler play station has most of the things parents would want to keep their toddler entertained, and the durability of it is top notch.
