The Best Hot Wheels City Tracks
.) Hot Wheels Super Ultimate Garage – This is by far the largest Hot Wheels Track/Garage set you can buy. It is over 3 feet tall and can store about 140 different Hot Wheels cars in its multi-level garage spaces! This option has multi-level racetracks and an awesome elevator that will lift cars up to the top level of the garage. There is an ape that will climb up the side of the elevator and try to knock cars out of it. The downside to this toy is the ape/elevator is probably going to break at some point, it is the most common problem. This really is the foundation to an awesome Hot Wheels city, but it is expensive, costing right around $200. We did an even more detailed review about the Hot Wheels Super Ultimate Garage Here.
.) Hot Wheels City Robo T-Rex Ultimate Garage – This fun set is about 36-inches high and has a huge vertical tower that you can park 100 Hot Wheels cars on it! The highlight of the track is the giant Robo T-Rex that is going to try and eat your Hot Wheels cars! There is a great side by side racetrack at the top that is going to get the speed going. There are some cool gaps in the track the represent jumps – so you even get some air while racing! There are multiple different points where you can connect other Hot Wheels City racing track sets as well.
.) Hot Wheels City Cobra Crush – I have this one #3 on our list just because it is one of my son’s all-time favorite toys. Like the name implies, this track is a giant snake that you launch cars at. The snake will close its mouth to capture a car, and you can rescue that captured car by launching a car down its back and tripping a trigger that collapses the snake and opens its mouth! It really is a cool toy that can be connected to other tracks and should provide a lot of fun for children! We also did a very detailed review on this toy here: Hot Wheels City Cobra Crush Review.
.) Hot Wheels City Ultimate Gator Car Wash – I’m not going to lie; this is one of the coolest track sets they created. Like the name implies, this is a giant car wash themed set. There is a an elevator that you crank to bring your car up to the top, there is a nob that you can turn to have real water fall onto the car, you can push the car down the track into a “whirlpool” area which you can escape, and there is also a giant alligator ready to eat that car! If you have the color changing Hot Wheels cars, the cars will change colors when going thru the car wash. It really is a lot of fun! We also ranked this number 1 on our list of the Best Hot Wheels Color Shifters Tracks and Cars.
.) Hot Wheels Color Shifters Sharkport Showdown – This fun track pairs speed with shark attacks – much to the delight of kids! There is a ramp at the top of the tower that you will push your car down. The car builds up speed and will hopefully (or not) avoid the shark attack! If the shark captures a car there is a release button to rescue those captured cars. There is also a dunk tank and a splash pool that you can use to change the colors on the color shifting Hot Wheels Cars. If you don’t have a Hot Wheels Color Changer, this set does come with one included! Just like the other Hot Wheels City tracks, this one can also be connected to other tracks to create one heck of a Hot Wheels City!
.) Hot Wheels City Ultimate Garage – This is an older version of the “big-base” Hot Wheels tracks that you can make a lot of connections from. Basically, it was the big garage before they made the Hot Wheels City Super Ultimate Garage listed in spot one. That does make it a little harder to find. It does have lots of racetracks included with it, a giant shark that should excite your young ones, and obviously it can be connected to some of the other track options. There is even a loop to loop section. Some assembly is required, but it should be a lot of fun for you….and the kids!
.) Hot Wheels Bat Manor Play Set – This Hot Wheels Bat Manor Set is a small add-on to your other Hot Wheels Tracks, but it is the second most popular small track set we own! This set has a creepy house that you push a giant bat downwards into. There is a launcher that has three different levels to it – and you launch your car to basically knock the bat from the manor! One you make the final hit to the bat’s nose the wings flap out – and my kids really enjoy doing that over and over again. You can check out a full review we did about this track here: The Hot Wheels Bat Manor Play Set Reviewed.
.) Hot Wheels T-Rex Rampage Track Set – Children love dinosaurs and they love Hot Wheels tracks – so when you combine a Hot Wheels Track with a T-Rex, you are going to have a winner. This fun set has you loading Hot Wheel cars into a launcher and launching them at the T-Rex to try and defeat it. The T-Rex tail swings to knock down the buildings behind it – and of course the T-Rex can fit a car into its mouth as well. Connect this track to the others ones to get your city rocking!
.) Hot Wheels Smashin’ Triceratops Play Set – Want another great dinosaur track from Hot Wheels? Here is the Hot Wheels Smashin’ Triceratops Playset! This is another set where you are going to load Hot Wheel Cars into a launcher and try to take down a giant Triceratops. The Triceratops is on a track, and if you hit him accurately you push him backwards until it falls over backwards. If you don’t him him accurately, it keeps charging forward destroying the street! It is a lot of fun launching cars at a dinosaur to take it down!
.) Hot Wheels City Shark Beach Battle – This is a bigger launcher set, similar to the Cobra Crush set that we have ranked above. This track set has a launcher where you load a car and shoot to down the track – where it goes around the bend – and has an opportunity to be snagged by a giant shark! Kids should really enjoy launching the car around the bend, and the graphics are really good with this set between the giant shark, the blue looking waves, and the pretend sand. It really gives it a beach vibe for the battle with this shark!
.) Hot Wheels Air Attack Dragon Play Set – This large set is going to bring a lot of fun to any playroom. It is a motorized set, so the dragon will spin around its tower. There is a jail section to this playset that you can load up with cars – and the spinning dragon will knock them out of jail with its tail. You have a launcher that you also use to launch cars at the dragon. If you hit the dragon’s power source you will knock it down – and keep it from freeing those bad guys from jail. There are lots of ramps and other things you can attach to the set, and it is just another great addition to your Hot Wheels City!
.) Hot Wheels City Town Center Play Set – This Hot Wheels City Town Center has a two-sided building, and the roof of this building unsnaps. The roof is actually a bunch of roadways with a round-a-bout built into it as well. This Town Center is a GREAT foundation piece for the rest of the Hot Wheels City Tracks. For example, the roof piece can be attached to the building – and you can run different pieces of track from it to create ramps and all sorts of fun stuff. I would encourage you to buy this set if you are going to buy a lot of other tracks to really develop a big Hot Wheels City!
.) Hot Wheels Mega Car Wash Play Set – Any time you have a city you got to keep your cars clean – and the Hot Wheels Mega Car Wash Play Set is a lot of fun. It has an automated conveyer belt that you can put your cars onto, and it will take your car to a wash tank. If it is a color-changer Hot Wheels car, there is a squeeze bottle you squeeze to get warm water onto the cars – and have them change colors. There is a dunk-tank for cars as well- and it overall is a a lot of fun for kids!
.) Hot Wheels City Color Changing Robot Shark Play Set – This Color Changing Robot Shark Play Set is another color changing track that is part of the Hot Wheels City group. This track starts with a tank that you load with cold water, which you also place your Hot Wheeler racer into. There is a little elevator that loads your car onto a ship launcher. You then launch your car into the loop-to-loop stunt and they either make the jump – or they land right into the shark’s mouth. The shark can be loaded with warm water to change the color of your car once it falls into it. It really is a clever and fun set that can be played with by itself, or pair with all those other great tracks!
.) Hot Wheels City Spider Park Attack – Looking for a creepy Hot Wheels Track? How about a giant spider attacking a park? This Hot Wheels City Spider Park Attack should be a lot of fun for children. It has a big ramp that can be moved up and down, and you can drive your car down it. In the big park tree is the giant spider – and the spider can capture your car! There is a giant branch that will swing the giant spider down to the ground – and you can try and race your car right underneath it. Overall, this is one of my favorite tracks Hot Wheels made – and one that my kids were instantly attracted to.
.) Hot Wheels City Super Spin Tire Shop – Every city needs a tire shop – and this Hot Wheels City Super Spin Tire shop is full of surprises! This cool set has a ramp and some knobs that pushes your Hot Wheels car up the ramp. While going up the ramp it has some pretend work done to the car – and it is pushed into the giant tire – which then launches the car out the back at a good speed! Kids love watching cars get launched at high speeds, and this set certainty check that box!
.) Hot Wheels City Gator Garage Attack – This Hot Wheels City Gator Garage Attack is about the simplest track in this entire line of Hot Wheels City tracks. It has a little path that you will drive on, and if you flip the switch, the Gator will pop-out of the garage and attack your car. It also has a little elevator that you can lift up and down – and a mechanical robot arm that you can move to pretend you are doing repairs to your car. It’s an okay track, but there are some better picks out there. Here is the personal review we did about this one: Hot Wheels City Gator Garage Review.
.) Hot Wheels City Downtown Super Fuel Stop Play Set – This Hot Wheels City Downtown Super Fuel Stop Play Set is a very affordable – should be around $10 – playset that you can incorporate very easily into your Hot Wheels collection. You basically drive your toy car right into a giant gas pump – and you can remove the gas pump hose to launch the car from it once the pretend fueling is done. It doesn’t have a lot of bells and whistles, but at a great price – it is easy to add this to the car collection.
.) Hot Wheels Super Spin Dealership – This Hot Wheels Super Spin Dealership is a unique option that will bring something a little different to your Hot Wheels track collection. This dealership has a 4-level tower with a plastic car sign at the top. The car sign spins, and you are able to launch your hot wheels car out of the different levels of the tower. It doesn’t have any attacking animals or crazy adventures some of the other sets do, but the simplicity of it makes it a lot of fun.
.) Hot Wheels Toxic Scorpion Attack Playset – This Hot Wheels Toxic Scorpion Attack Playset is another Hot Wheels set featuring a giant mutant animal wreaking havoc on an unexpected city. The scorpion has giant claws that you need to get past with your car – and the scorpion tail is the cool, unique feature of this track. It can be curled up to make a loop-to-loop road to drive on – or it can be straightened out to give you a straight-away to gain some serious speed on! It also does come with a launcher that you will use to blast your car past everyone!
.) Hot Wheels City Downtown FIRE Station SPINOUT Play Set – This Hot Wheels City Downtown Fire Station Spinout Play Set is about the simplest, and least expensive Hot Wheels set you can buy. It comes with a neat fire truck themed Hot Wheels Car and a little fire station building. It is called the Spinout play set because there is a little ramp you can place your car on, and a button that spins it around and launches it out the door. Nothing to special about this set, but sometimes simple is good!
.) Hot Wheels City Downtown Police Station Breakout Play Set – This Hot Wheels City Downtown Police Station is another of the inexpensive and simple Hot Wheels Building sets that are available for purchase. This little jail has a couple of levels, and one of the neat things you can do is place a car on the roof top, you push the car down on this “secret” hatch, and it ramps out of the second level and into the open. This set is best when paired with some other sets or other track pieces!
.) Hot Wheels City Dragon Blast Set – Another of the fun Dragon themed Hot Wheels Sets would be this Hot Wheels City Dragon Blast Set. This cool set has a launcher that you load up to shoot cars – and the launcher is adjustable so you can move it around. The Dragon is sitting on a building and if you land a direct hit, the building will expand upwards. There is a little pit you can fall into if you miss the dragon in the front – and it even has a ramp you can move to drive up the back and hit the dragon in his tail! This set is larger than a lot of other sets and has a lot of cool features built into it.
.) Hot Wheels Toxic Ape Attack – This Hot Wheels Toxic Ape Attack set give children the ability to drive around and escape the Toxic Ape, or to figure out a way to take it down! This set comes with a launcher that will also control the movement of the giant toxic ape. When you launch your car, the ape will move to create obstacles for you! The large hand of the ape can also fit a car into it – and the overall look of this set creates a toy that children are going to love!
.) Hot Wheels Super City Fire House Rescue Play Set – This Hot Wheels Super City Fire House Rescue Play Set is a perfect set to pair with other Hot Wheels City tracks. It has a very vibrant look to it and is very noticeable when you have 4 or 5 other sets all connected to each other. This set is full of little surprises, and doesn’t have any crazy monsters, dragons, or mutants attacking you – which is a probably a good thing!
.) Hot Wheels Viper Bridge Attack Play Set – One of my favorite looking tracks in the entire Hot Wheels City collection would be this Hot Wheels Viper Bridge Attack Play Set. The body of this bridge is a long viper, with a big serpent head. There is a little launcher you can use to drive your vehicle over the top of the bridge – and you can even come out of the serpent head. Overall, it is just a fun looking set – and it has a spooky enough look to it I’m sure kids will love playing with it!
.) Hot Wheels Croc Mansion Attack Playset – This Hot Wheels Croc Mansion Attack Playset is a very unique design. It is actually a mansion that is setting in the mouth of a giant crocodile. You actually open the crocodile’s mouth to make a roadway, and if you aren’t careful, it will snap back up! The mouth can connect to other roadways – and the mansion has all sorts of ramps and cool stuff that kids are sure to enjoy!
.) Hot Wheels Gorilla Rage Garage Attack Playset – Hot Wheels surprises me with how many little twists that can put into their different playsets. This set is a giant Gorilla that is basically behind a garage. The garage even has a couple of bay doors. There is a giant wrench on the top of the garage, and you can lift it up to basically lift the garage over the Gorilla’s head to make it look like he is destroying everything! It is a clever variation on all of the different garage sets they have!
.) Hot Wheels Downtown Burger Dash Play Set- I like this Hot Wheels Downtown Burger Dash Play Set because not every playset has to have attacking snakes or giant mutant apes – but sometimes they can just be fun things you would normally see in a city with a Hot Wheels twist. This set has a building with a giant burger on it – and basically your goal is to launch your Hot Wheels car from the launcher and through the giant burger -simple and fun!
.) Hot Wheels Downtown Ice Cream Meltdown Set – This Hot Wheels Downtown Ice Cream Meltdown Set has a unique design to it and should be very fun for children. This set has a giant, twisting tower that you drive your car into. There is a knob at the top that you twist, and it lifts your car up the tower. Once you reach the top it is shot out down an ice cream themed ramp. Should be a lot of fun.
.) Hot Wheels Pterodactyl Port Attack Playset – Getting back to the dinosaur themed play sets, we have the Hot Wheels Ptero Port Attack Playset. This set has a giant Pterodactyl on the top of it that can spin around, and all sorts of little raceways and tracks that come from it. It has a little launcher on it that will drive cars up the ramp – and it pairs with all the other Hot Wheels tracks really well.
.) Hot Wheels T-Rex Grocery Attack Playset – Who doesn’t want to have a Grocery Store that has a hidden, giant T-Rex inside of it. That is exactly what this Hot Wheels T-Rex Grocery Attack Playset is! This has a launcher on it, and if you hit the set in the right spot, you might even get that hidden T-Rex to pop out! I can see this track set being a big hit with your kids, and just like the other options, it can be combined with other tracks to create one epic Hot Wheels City!
.) Hot Wheels Super Space Shuttle Launch Pad Set – I think if most kids were designing a crazy toy city, they would have to create somewhere to put a space shuttle. Hot Wheels City tracks has this idea covered with the Hot Wheels Super Space Shuttle Launch Pad Set. This set has a cool loop-to-loop that is going to lead your car to the Space Shuttle. The Space Shuttle does move, and there are all-sorts of little bells and whistles that make this set really cool. I might have to buy this one for my kids as well!
.) Hot Wheels Downtown Speed Shop Escape – You didn’t think we could be done with these Hot Wheels Dinosaur themed sets yet did you? We got one more for you – the Hot Wheels Downtown Speed Shop Escape Play Set. This set has multiple levels to it, and a giant dinosaur head that is sticking out the side. And like all the other Hot Wheels sets, there are places for you to drive and ramp off of – and you can certainly combine this set with your other tracks!
.) Hot Wheels City Downtown Power Plant BLAST – This Hot Wheels City Downtown Power Plant Blast Play Set is a lot of fun – and has a crazy design to it. There is a little power plant that has a crazy looking monkey inside of it. This Power Plant can be split open when you drive a car through it, exposing the monkey holding what looks to be a flaming Hot Wheels sign! This set comes with a Hot Wheels car and has multiple slots where you can attach other tracks to it.
.) Hot Wheels City Aquarium Blast Play Set – Another great set to add to your Hot Wheels City would be this Hot Wheels City Aquarium Blast Play Set. It has a little ramp at the top that you load your car into, which leads the vehicle on a journey down some more ramps inside the Aquarium – and will blast it out the other side! This is another very simple set, but it looks cool and performs well.
.) Hot Wheels Bat Hospital Creature Attack Playset – This Hot Wheels Bat Hospital Creature Attack Playset is a very simple playset that has a giant bat and a hospital building as the main parts of it. It has different levels, different ramps, and some cool features that should make your child enjoy playing with it! I would encourage you to connect this track to some of the other really great options to maximize enjoyment!
.) Hot Wheels Toxic Snake Strike Challenge Play Set – This Hot Wheels Toxic Snake Strike Challenge Play Set is an awesome addition to the Hot Wheels City Track Collection. This big playset has an ominous looking snake, some slime that will get cars stuck, and a lot of other little features that are going to make kids very happy! This is one of those sets that I would really encourage you to purchase…I’m not sure how children wouldn’t love this one!
That is a lot of Hot Wheels Tracks to pick from! You will probably take up an entire house if you buy all of them, but there are some great track options that cover a variety of interests that kids could have.
