We all grew up with LEGO® blocks and can remember some of the tremendous builds we made with them. We are call those little building block toys LEGO® blocks because of the tremendous branding that they have done. However, LEGO® does not have a patent on those blocks, they have a trademark on that name – which means you are seeing more and more companies creating “LEGO®” sets or different building block sets with similar styles.
Which is why we had to take a look at some of the Best Unofficial Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild LEGO® Sets. It is very important to note that these sets are not officially licensed by Nintendo or LEGO®, so you can’t guarantee the quality of product is going to be as good as we would all expect from officially licensed products from those companies.
However, there are some really cool Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild Building Block Sets out there – so we wanted to show you those! And the rumors are that there will soon be officially licensed Breath of the Wild sets beings released by LEGO® in the near future, so keep your eyes out for that!
****Important Note**** – The building blocks in these sets are much smaller than traditional LEGO blocks, which is why you will see some of these sets are in the thousands of pieces! We don’t want you to be surprised if you purchase one of these sets at the size of the pieces!

Detailed Reviews of the Best Legend of Zelda “LEGO” or Building Kit Sets
1.) VONADO Lynel “LEGO” Set – I know what you are going to say, how can Link not be in the number 1 slot? The answer is the Lynel set just looks way cooler. And if you are my youngest son, all he does is try to hunt Lynels (usually unsuccessfully unless he is on my profile) – so he would be proud to see this set in the number1 slot.
This set is 1045 pieces and is about 11-inches in height, so you are talking about some serious size. It is holding the signature Lynel sword and Lynel shield we come to expect when battling these enemies. The only slight complaint I have is the face does look a little strange, but it shouldn’t disappoint any Lynel fans out there too much.
Overall, a great set and a great choice for #1 on our list of the Best Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild Building Block Sets!
2.) VONADO Breath of the Wild Stable “LEGO” Set – There were a lot of really good choices for the #2 slot, but we went with the VONADO Breath of the Wild Stable building block set! The biggest reason we have this at number two is the size and look of this toy. Coming in at a whopping 2015 blocks, it is going to take some time for you to complete this build!
The size is great being about 12-inches high with a really nice base. Of course, it is the horse head design that you would expect from a Breath of the Wild Stable LEGO set that will create excitement in your household. This set does a terrific job of capturing that iconic look, and you will be able to send Link to the stable to find out what is going on in Hyrule!
We love sets that help encourage the use of a child’s imagination during playtime, and I think this set is going to fit that bill!
3.) YOUFOY Guardian Stalker “LEGO” Set – The very first time my son ran into a Guardian Stalker, he was obliterated and yelled in terror every time he saw one while playing for the next week (in his defense, he was only six years old). So, he might be disappointed to see me rank this YOUFOY Guardian Stalker Building Block Set so high, but it does look really, really cool.
This set happens to be 379 pieces and is about 8-inches high and a little over 9-inches wide. It has a really classic Guardian Stalker look – with six legs, gold accents, and GET THIS, a head that rotates 360 degrees just like in the video game. I could certainly see this building block set defeating Link a time or two in battle!
Honorable Mention: VONADO also has a 365-piece Guardian Stalker set that is slightly bigger, but we feel is doesn’t look quite as good as the YOUFOY option listed above. If you want to take a look at this option, you can find it here: VONADO Guardian Stalker Set.
4.) VONADO Breath of the Wild Temple “LEGO” Set – Anyone that has played Breath of the Wild knows you are going to spend a lot of time going from temple to temple (there is 120 of them in the base game after all). So, it only makes sense that one of the more popular Breath of the Wild LEGO sets would be the VONADO Breath of the Wild Temple Building Block Set.
This Temple set includes 697 building blocks – and is about six-inches tall, almost 9-inches long, and is about 5.5-inches wide. It has the classic temple look, so you know you are going to have to send Link there about 120 or so times. This set also includes a Guardian Scout for you to destroy and a Korok to find.
Overall, this is a fun set, and Temples play such an important role in the game, you are going to want to collect this one!
5.) YOUFOY Master Sword “LEGO” Set or VONADO Master Sword Building Block Set – Both YOUFOY and VONADO make terrific Master Sword sets that includes the Master Sword base and the Master Sword that you can pull out. The one you pick will really come down to personal preference.
The YOUFOY set is 388 pieces and stands about 11-inches tall when you have the sword in the base. It also has a more triangular base shape (this is the set pictured to the right). The VONADO set is actually 1045 pieces and has a much bigger, square shaped base. It is about 10-inches tall when the sword is placed into the base – and the sword pulls out of both bases.
Here is a link to the YOUFOY Master Sword Building Block Set & here is the link to the VONADO Master Sword Building Block Set. HONORABLE MENTION: VONADO also has a smaller, 244 piece set that is about 7-inches tall you can purchase as well. The sword also can be removed from the base in this set, and you can check it out here: Smaller Master Sword “LEGO” Set.
6.) VONADO Breath of the Wild Link “LEGO” Set – All right, I hear you – it is about time for us to put Link on our list of the Best BOTW LEGO sets. So, we would encourage you to check out this VONADO Breath of the Wild Link Building Block Set.
This set is 248 pieces – and when assembled, Link will be almost 3-inches tall. As you can imagine, that means you are going to be putting a lot of small pieces together, so always keep that in mind! I will also say that the design of this figure will remind you more of the Super Nintendo or Link’s Awaking Link than the more modern Breath of the Wild Link. This design is more cartoonish and blockier than the Breath of the Wild design.
BONUS ITEM: VONADO also has an Ocarina of Time Link that is also almost 3-inches tall and looks very similar to Breath of the Wild Link; except he is dressed in his green tunic. You can check out that set here: VONADO Ocarina of Time Link.
7.) VONADO Breath of the Wild Bokoblin Building Block Set – Most of us really enjoyed the open concept of Breath of the Wild, and the ability to go fight whatever enemies we wanted whenever we wanted. Of course, we all spent a lot of time beating up Bokoblins, so it wouldn’t be a bad idea to have a VONADO Breath of the Wild Bokoblin Building Block Set so Link would have someone to beat up!
It takes 340-pieces to create this Bokoblin, and when you finish building it, you will have Hyrule’s most common enemy – which stands about 9-inches tall. He also has his club in hand, which won’t match up very well with Link’s Master Sword.
Overall, the design is fun and very recognizable – making it a fun addition to the toy collection of any Legend of Zelda fan.
8.) VONADO Breath of the Wild Kass Building Block Set – One of the best things about Breath of the Wild is all the different characters you get to meet during your adventures. One of those characters is the knowledgeable Kass, who sings all sorts of songs about temples you need to find and mysteries you need to unlock.
Kass has a Rito look that would expect from a building block set about him. This set is 167-pieces, making it one of the smallest sets in the VONADO family. When you put all of the pieces together, Kass is going to be about 4-inches tall. He is holding his accordion that he plays all of his songs on, and the only real downside to this figure is that is has a cartoonish look to it like the Link figure listed above also has.
BONUS ITEM: There is also a 204-piece Revali character that you can purchase from VONADO – it is also a little more cartoonish looking than some of the other sets but could be an option for you as well! VONADO Revali Breath of the Wild Building Block Set.
9.) VONADO Breath of the Wild Korok Seed Building Block Set – If you want to do one of the longest and most unsatisfying missions in the Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild, try and locate all 900 Korok Seeds that are in the game. Bonus points if you can actually do that without Googling a Map of where they are located or without wearing the Korok Seed locating mask you get in the DLC.
This 314-piece set includes a pair of Korok Seeds that are about 5-inches tall. One seed looks like they are floating while the other seed has the pinwheel they are known to have in the game. They look like Korok seeds and really the reason they rank so low on this list is because I’ve never found all 900 seeds in the game, and my dislike of Korok seeds probably stems from that. So, if you child love Korok Seeds for some reason, this would make a great gift for them. If they are like the rest of us, some of these other sets might be a little more fun for them!
10.) VONADO Breath of the Wild Sheikah Slate Building Block Set – I always found the Sheikah Slate amusing – it was like the very first iPhone in Hyrule and was drastically different than what we experienced in the first Legend of Zelda games. It was honestly a nice way to update the game for new players.
This VONADO Breath of the Wild Sheikah Slate Building Block Set features 248 pieces and lets you create your very own Sheikah Slate. This slate will be about 6-inches tall and 3.5-inches wide when it is built. It does have a very cool look to it and give you the opportunity to create a replica of the most used piece of equipment in the game!
This building block set will work really good on your desk – and I can see why children would enjoy building it!
