I know there are a few other parents that have kids that are obsessed with the PJ Masks. My two kids certainly went thru a stage like this and one of the toys we got out of it was the PJ Masks PJ Seeker Vehicle Toy.
This was also a toy that was bought by my child. He surprised us when we took him to the store, gave him his Christmas money, and he decided to make this selection. We honestly were expecting him to pick something else – but we can see why a child would be drawn to this toy!
So, like always, we wanted to give you our full opinion, review, and talk about the experiences our children have had with – so here it is – our PJ Masks PJ Seeker toy review!

Full PJ Masks PJ Seeker Vehicle Review
This PJ Masks Vehicle is a very fun toy that has a little bit of weight to it and is actually pretty big.
Length wise the vehicle is about 28.5-inches long, about 7-inches wide, and about 8-inches high to the main part of the vehicle (the tower part is about 12-inches high). The manufacturer says the toy is about 8-pounds, which seems a little heavy to me!
There is two main parts to the vehicle. You will have the front driving part and the trailer part. The front driver’s seat can be detached from the trailer. There is a little plastic trailer hitch on the driver’s compartment that hooks about halfway up to the trailer. It does take a little bit of force to get these two parts to hook up and this can be tricky for younger children until they get the hang of it. When together the trailer gets pulled no problem at all and should be a lot of fun.
The trailer part of the PJ Mask Seeker has a back entrance, a side entrance, and a ramp that pulls out of top of the vehicle. This ramp allows you to drive the Catboy Car or other vehicles down from the top of the vehicle. These ramps and doors can disconnect from the vehicle – meaning you might need to reattach them for your children over and over again until they get the hang of it.
On top of the trailer is a really neat tower. The tower can be slid back and forth on the top of the PJ Mask Seeker Vehicle. On this tower is a spotlight that will light up when you press the buttons on it. These buttons also make all sorts of different sounds – like an engine revving up, an alarm going off – those sorts of things.
There is a red antenna piece and a disc-shooter that can swap spots. They can either be placed on the top of the car part or on the tower part. The tower also has a crane arm that moves around and is attached to a cage.
Ours came with a Catboy Figure and a mini-Cat-Car – right now I believe you can buy this toy and you will actually get a toy figure of Owlette, Catboy, and Gekko. This can change from time to time, so make sure you read the box/description when buying.
All and all you are going to get the vehicle, trailer, crane, shooter, antenna, cage, and at least one figure. Our sons have really enjoyed playing with this toy and it will make a really nice addition to your toy collection. The only real downside to it is some of the noises it makes are annoying to us parents – and the pieces do keep coming off if your child isn’t capable of putting them all back together themselves. I will say my 4-year-old has this down to a science now, so it shouldn’t be too difficult for them!
The Danger Scale
How much danger does this toy poise towards your kid? Honestly, not much. There are some pieces that come off and can be tossed around, but nothing that should cause much damage.
The biggest risk factor would come from this toy being heavy and being tossed down some stairs. It could certainly knock somethings over and cause some damage when it makes impact.
If you have no stairs in your home, consider this an extremely safe toy. If you have one young child that likes to make the occasional poor choice with their toys – and you have steps – the risk factor is considerably higher!
We are going to give it a 4 on the danger scale – because we do have a home with stairs.
Annoyance Scale
There are a few things that I would consider annoying about this toy. One is the fact that lots of the pieces come off and you really need to be able to train your kids to put them on themselves. Once that is done, this shouldn’t be a problem.
When the vehicle is pulling the trailer, the wheels are pretty darn squeaky. I’m assuming that is the case for all models in this toy line and not just ours. Luckily for us, we have a toy room where the kids get to play with this one.
This toy does also have buttons to get pushed, noises to be made, and all sorts of things like that. Add that all up and you may find yourself getting annoyed at this toy from time to time. We give it a 5 out of 10 on that scale.
Our Final Grade and Links of Interest
As much as our child surprised us picking this PJ Masks Vehicle toy over all those other options at the store – we are glad he picked it! He has played a lot of PJ Masks themed games with it, but also incorporated it into countless other adventures his toy soldiers have been in.
I’m going to give this toy a Gold Star rating – with a warning to parents that are easily annoyed by loud toys – you might consider this one a silver star toy!
